LIMN is a 99% eco-friendly and sustainable brand. We currently use plastic only in the form of tape that is stuck to the delivery slip, which makes for less than 1% of our material usage. We aim to change this too, soon.
From our products to packaging, let’s get into the details.
We use materials that are FSC® certified.
FSC is an acronym for the Forest Stewardship Council which is an independent, non-governmental, non- profit organization that was established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
The use of FSC Recycled materials/products can help to reduce the pressure of demand on sources of virgin material, thereby helping to protect the world’s forests and in return effectively managing and handling waste.
Basically what the FSC does is create material which is made from responsibly sourced wood fibre and the forests from which it has been harvested are managed in a way that reduces their environmental impact. It also uses half the amount of water that virgin paper does.
We have a wide selection of products that we’ve taken the pleasure to explain about the materials used in every little thing from the paper, fabrics to the very lids on our candles! You can find that information under each product.
But be assured, we only use materials that do not cause damage to the environment during this entire process.
If it’s great for the planet, it’s greater for you.
Majority of our packaging material is made using Kraft paper which is manufactured from wood pulp, making it organic. It can be recycled upto seven times.
All our packaging supplies are proudly made and manufactured in India.
